The gas key is 4130 steel, milled valley, and staked with Grade 8 hardware. The bolt is CNC-ground from 9310 case-hardened steel, shot-peened and Black Nitride finished for maximum strength and fatigue resistance. The BCG uses a hardened 4340 cam pin and an 8740 Mil-Spec firing pin that is centerless ground and hard-chrome coated. Extractor is 4340 steel with Mil-Spec spring + O-ring combo.
