The ring retains a 68 MOA width but removes the top for a cleaner sight picture and replaces the bottom with a prominent chevron to correct POA/POI shift at extremely short ranges. Zero a .223/5.56 at 50 yards and you gain intuitive aiming solutions including a 200-yard reference and a 7-yard close-quarters point at the chevron - a practical layout for duty, CQB, and patrol scenarios.
