This process allows for a thinner profile without sacrificing protection, giving you a durable, maintenance-free alternative to ceramic or polymer armor.Each plate includes a durable, water-resistant base coating for longevity. An optional Kevlar-lined spall and fragmentation containment layer is strongly recommended to mitigate secondary fragmentation and enhance overall armor performance-especially if your carrier does not already include anti-fragmentation protection.All Predator Armor plates are independently tested and certified to NIJ 0101.06 standards by NTS-Chesapeake, an NIJ-approved testing laboratory accredited by NVLAP and A2LA (ISO 17025).
