This advanced process allows for a thinner profile without sacrificing protection, delivering superior ballistic performance and long service life.Each plate includes a durable, water-resistant base coating for corrosion resistance and longevity (note: the base coat does not mitigate fragmentation). For enhanced safety, an optional Kevlar-lined spall and fragmentation containment layer is available and strongly recommended if your carrier or setup does not include anti-fragmentation protection.All Predator Armor plates are independently tested and certified to NIJ 0101.06 standards by NTS-Chesapeake, an NIJ-approved laboratory accredited by NVLAP and A2LA (ISO 17025).
