At only 3.3 lbs per plate, they offer rifle-rated protection without the fatigue associated with heavier armor. The multi-curve ergonomic design enhances comfort and mobility, while the 1" thin profile keeps the system streamlined.UHMWPE armor does not suffer from spalling or fragmentation like steel. Upon impact, high-velocity rounds are captured within the layered polyethylene as the material partially melts and dissipates energy-resulting in effective multi-hit protection without secondary fragmentation hazards. These plates are also neutrally buoyant, making them suitable for maritime or wet environments.A durable polyurea coating protects against water, UV exposure, and wear from extended use.
