At just 3.3 lbs per plate, they deliver rifle-rated protection without the fatigue associated with heavier armor systems. The multi-curve ergonomic design maximizes comfort and mobility, while the 1" thin profile keeps the system streamlined.UHMWPE armor does not suffer from spalling or fragmentation like steel. When struck by a high-velocity projectile, the layered polyethylene structure captures the round as the material partially melts and dissipates energy-resulting in effective multi-hit protection without secondary fragmentation hazards.
