Scheels Outfitters RS2

The RS2 is one of the best and simplest trout flies out there. This pattern catches fish, no doubt about that. There are many variations of the RS2 but the gray one seems to be a favorite amongst most anglers. This pattern does a highly effective job at imitating most all midges and mayflies. Rarely is there a better choice to tie on than the RS2, and this one is no different. Have a couple RS2s for any trout fishing venture. The RS2 is the most versatile of the many RS2 options out there. This pattern looks very identical to most midges and mayflies you will encounter in a trout river. Anglers see success fishing this fly as an emerger and as a basic nymph. Fish will often eat the RS2 throughout the water column. Anglers should carry a few of this pattern in different sizes to be covered for almost all situations they could come across.
